AuthorI hold a PhD in Mediterranean Archaeology from the Classics Department at the University at Buffalo My dissertation, Surveillance, Visibility, and the Colonial Encounter in the Early Roman Central Alentejo, Portugal: 100 B.C.E. – 100 C.E., examines the landscape, material culture, and colonization of an understudied region of the ancient world.
